Fuel Economy Features of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Minivan

The minivan has long been a reliable vehicle for those with large families. Unfortunately, to accommodate the larger size, these cars were often far less fuel efficient than their much smaller counterparts. Luckily, new hybrid technology is being outfitted in minivans making them more fuel efficient than ever before. That is why we here at Washington Chrysler Center of Washington, IN are so excited to tell you all about the new 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid!

This hybrid includes a dual power system including both a full-size battery which is capable of running the car exclusively on electricity for up to 33 miles, as well as a more traditional gas-powered engine. The combination of these two systems allows the minivan to achieve up to 84 miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent.

Finally, because of the presence of the battery, this minivan is eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit available for the purchase of electric vehicles.
